THE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR MOP
We would all like to think that we keep our homes clean, right? Well, the reality of that is that no matter how often you clean, there is one area of your home that truly needs more help. That area is your floors. I typically preferred to use a sponge mop because it is quick and easy.
There are a couple problems that come with with using a regular mop. First of all, the dirt and water remain on your floor. You’re really only pushing the dirt around. Secondly, you have to wait for your floors to dry. This one bothers me to no end! I cannot stand to have to wear shoes in my house because the floors are wet, and inevitably, my husband comes home and walks his work shoes right across the “clean” floors.
THE SOLUTION
I became fed up with these issues and decided to try out this steam mop. Y’all, it is amazing! It is incredibly light weight and cleans like a dream. Gone are the days that I wait for the floors to dry!
Because it uses steam, it is actually sanitizing the floor as you go, which is great for all the mommas out there! Keep your kiddos safe from all the nasty germs and dirt on your floor! Surprisingly, it takes less time to steam mop the floors than it does to use a regular mop because you’re not having to constantly dip the mop in the dirty water and ring it out. Also, this steam mom uses only water to clean, so there is no need to buy any harsh chemicals, which saves you money too!
This is what my steam mop looked like after I used it on the downstairs of my home. Super gross, but that was on my FLOOR! This is the result of previously using a sponge mop! To wash these pads, I just threw this in the wash by itself on an extra small load cycle. It came out great!
Additionally, there is NO DRYING TIME. Yes, I said it! by the time you pull the mop back toward yourself, the floor has completely dried. This is something that I know you will appreciate as much as I do!
And honestly, the price is just amazing. You end up spending $49 on the mop, the bucket, and the chemicals in about two months! Whhy not save yourself time AND money?
