IT ALL STARTS WITH THE BASE
One secret to having a great lip combo is to start out with healthy, hydrated lips. Essentially, the first thing I do is drink lots of water throughout the day and then next I use a lip mask for immediate hydration. The lip mask that I use is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. The color also looks great by itself as a lip balm on a day you want to wear less or no makeup.
THE BEST LIP COMBO AND COLORS
For a great lip look, you should always use a lip liner. I like to use one slightly darker than the lip look I am going for. This makes your lips look bigger and allows for small amounts of over-lining. I use this KKW Mrs. West lip liner in the color LOVE. This formula is very creamy and is the exact same consistency as the Kylie Cosmetics lip liners, if you have tried those.
Next I apply the KKW Pink Creme lipstick in the color Pink 1. This is a great light pink color and this lipstick glides on smoothly.
After applying, I blot the excess lipstick off of my lips. Lastly, I apply the NYX Butter Gloss in shade Fortune Cookie. This gloss is very affordable and it smells amazing. Also, this gloss is super shiny, but it is no sticky.
THE FINAL LOOK
I love the final look so much! There is no filter or editing on the photo above so you can see the true color of the lip combo. It’s so beautiful and it is a great color for any skintone!
